The following persons are eligible for regular membership:

Members of the Regular Forces and their immediate families ( Spouses, School Age Children under 25)
Members of the Reserve Forces and their immediate families( Spouses, School Age Children under 25)
Former Regular Forces members and their immediate families ( Spouses, School Age Children under 25)
Foreign military personnel on duty with the Canadian Forces (CF) and their immediate families. ( Spouses, School Age Children under 25)

DND Public Service employees/full time contractors (for the period of their contract) and their immediate families
Former DND Public Service employees receiving a pension for DND service, and their immediate families
Staff of NPF, CF and their full time contractors (for the period of their contract) and their immediate families
Former Staff of NPF, CF receiving a pension for NPF service and their families
Serving members of the RCMP and their immediate families
Members of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires, or other security force when employed at a CF location, and their immediate families
Staff of the CMFRC and their immediate families.

Subject to the approval of the B/W/U Commander or his/her representative, any person not specified in paragraphs above may be invited to become an associate member.
Associate membership shall be for one year with no guarantee of renewal for further one-year terms and may be renewed upon approval of CFB Halifax Senior Leadership

Intermediate members are limited to those, who have not reached their 30th birthday by May 1 of the current year.
Intermediate members have all the rights and privileges of membership except holding office.

Junior members are limited to individuals who have reached their 8th birthday by May 1 and not reached their 19th birthday by June 1 of the current year.
Junior memberships are available to dependent children and grandchildren of Regular, Ordinary and Associate members.
Additional junior memberships may be offered to children of the surrounding communities.
The overall number of juniors will not exceed 75
